I always thought it would be interesting to have a movie about Eris. Perhaps not in the historical sense, but as a "Goddess in modern times" premise. (I read somewhere once that there might be a movie, but it turned out to be fake)
I guess if I get enough of an idea I might scratch out a screenplay myself :)

I guess my problem is how I present Eris: how does she appear in the story, what her motivations are, what kind of characters will surround her, etc. -

Thu, November 6, 2003 - 11:47 AMsee, my way, i don't actually have to deal with what she'd look like.. baisically a wilder/more insane, exciting version of boringgirl... and more like, she's in the way when eris comes barreling through.. random possessions until for some reason (which gets explained later) eris is stuck in boring girl. no escape. -

Thu, January 29, 2004 - 7:04 PMDid you know that the movie "the eye of the beholder" is an Eris movie? It has Ashley Judd & Ewan McGregor. Judd's name is something Eris. (I don't remember the first name) I turned it on, saw a scene of her walking across the street with chaos following behind her path, cars hitting each other, etc. My husband commented on that and in the next few minutes it showed the name of the character.
Not truly the "goddess" aspect, but definitly a twist on the name.
